Sawn and carved from a block of plaster of Paris. Black acrylic pigment was stirred into the plaster as it was mixed, giving it soft marbling of light greys. Marks from the saw and rasp are cut into the surface.
Inscribed MRB on the heel of the figure.
Attached to a cast concrete base with a small length of stainless steel rod. Felt pads are attached to the bottom of the concrete base to avoid scratching surfaces.
