This large drawing in watercolour and ink was made many years ago when I was disgusted with the then government. Now we've got an even worse shower in charge, so that didn't work.
The fools argue on top of the ivory tower while the the churning masses in the sea try to topple them over. Oh well.
First shown and sold at On the Wall Gallery, New York. It was later resold at Phillips auctioneers New York. Then exhibited for sale at an online gallery in New York where it was purchased for me by my great friend Barry Lane. I still owe him some illustrations for it.
"Ship of Fools" has now come back home again.
Collection of the artist.
